Rooms in Munnar and Thekkady are Non Air Conditioned due to their High Altitude.

Keeping with the heightened security procedures at all hotels and House boat/Day cruise we request all guests to carry a photo-identity with address proof to present at check-in. Foreign nationals are required to present their Passport and valid visa. Indian nationals can present any one of the following: Passport, Driving License, Voter ID card, Aadhaar Card or Bank Pass Book with Photograph. Pan cards are not allowed.

Air - condition is switched off in hilly regions.

Early check-ins or late check-outs will be subject to availability and charged as per hotel policy.

In case of any change in the dates of travel, amendment or rerouting of itinerary, change in hotels/room types, the costs will vary accordingly.

Kovalam

On Arrival at Trivandrum, drive to Kovalam A beach on the Arabian Sea in Kerala, majorly famous for its golden beaches & Palm fringed shores. Evening at leisure or local sightseeing by own. Indulge into some Ayurveda treatments if interested (Optional).

Day 2

Kovalam - Trivandrum - Kovalam

After breakfast go for half day Trivandrum city tour covering Napeir Museum, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Zoo and Padmanabha temple and Palace. Evening leisure at the beaches of Kovalam.

Day 3

Kovalam - Alleppey

After the breakfast drive to Alleppey. On arrival, check into houseboat and spend the day at leisure. Houseboat cruise is the best way to explore the beauty of backwaters. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy lunch, evening tea/coffee with snacks and dinner on it. Stay overnight in houseboat.

Day 4

Alleppey - Kumarakom

After the breakfast drive to Kumarakom. On Arrival Check inn hotel. Kumarakom is an important stopover for a majority of these tourists. This famous tourist backwater hub is a cluster of islands on the eastern banks of Lake Vembanad. Compared to adjacent villages, the lake has its maximum length and breadth near Kumarakom - about eight km. With the huge lake on one side and with a network of calm canals running through it, Kumarakom, a masterpiece created by man and Nature together, enjoys a unique position on the map of Kerala. After noon visit the famous Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary & rest of the day you can have leisure in your back water resort.

Day 5

Kumarakom - Thekkady

After breakfast drive to Thekkady. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel. Afternoon, proceed to Periyar National Park to view the wildlife by boats. ( Optional ) Set in the heart of the Cardamom Hills of Kerala the Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve, offers a rare opportunity to enjoy South India’s wild life and beauty. The park has a picturesque lake at the heart of the sanctuary. Herds of elephant and sambar, Gaur and wild pigs and wander down to the lakeside and can be observed from the launches that cruise the lake. Periyar also harbours the leopard, wild dog, barking deer and mouse deer. On the rocky outcrops along the lake, monitor lizards can be seen basking in the sun. Return to the hotel after your boat ride.

Thekkady - Munnar

After breakfast drive to Munnar, enroute visiting Cheeyaparra Falls. Arrive Munnar and check in at the hotel.Munnar is the nature-lover’s paradise. Snuggling in the green and serene Kannan Devan Hills lies the quiet and restful resort of Munnar. Here you can have a glimpse of a Gaur, Langur, Lion-tailed macaque, and Elephants roaming in herds. Rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 7

Munnar

After breakfast, proceed for a morning sightseeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Thar, visit Mattupetty Dam which offers many fascinating sights to relish. The Shola forests around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and bird watching, with the variety of birds found there. Late afternoon, you will go for a stroll in Tea Estates. Meet the local people engaged in tea Industry. Evening will be at leisure.

Day 8

Munnar - Cochin

After breakfast transfer to Cochin. Half-day sightseeing tour of Cochin. You will first proceed to Mattancherry, where you will visit the oldest Jewish Synagogue in India. The Dutch Palace (Closed on Friday) at Mattancherry was built in 1555 and its coronation hall and murals at Ramayana are noteworthy features. From Jewish Synagogue you will visit Chinese fishing nets. The cantilevered fishing nets line the entrance to the harbour mouth.Continue your tour to the St. Francis Church (Closed on Sunday during Mass),.Rest of the day at leisure.
